Still Life

I made a series of still life paintings throughout January as part of the Strada Easel Challenge. It turned into a study of garlic bulbs mostly, with a few other vegetables depending on what was in the fridge that caught my eye! Cooking is one of my favourite things to do, especially on a winter's evening, and I've been enjoying learning how to make some delicious vegetarian dishes recently.

There's something so beautiful in the shapes and colours of vegetables, and these mini paintings are my way of celebrating that.
